- Supports Strategic Goal of Advocacy Objective 2: Enable and encourage members’ individual advocacy efforts
- Two members are on a proposal that was accepted for MLA 2022.
- Develop committee website with information for other library professionals around BIPOC collection development
- Supports Strategic Goal of Value of the Profession Objective 3: Use new technologies to build greater public awareness, understanding and support for the Association, music libraries and music librarianship

- Investigate ways to connect with living composers to encourage more connection with libraries

- This goal is looking at the number of composers who only rent their scores or who do not use big distributors.
