List of Previous Goals and Progress Made
- NYSO Board formed a subcommittee to draft the NYSO Handbook, which serves to delineate the specific tasks of each of the officers of MLA’s New York State/Ontario chapter, in accordance with their general duties which are outlined in the chapter’s By-Laws to Article 4: Officers. The handbook is organized in calendar form, so that the officers can stay on task throughout the year, and thus meet deadlines.
- Draft of NYSO Handbook completed in Spring 2022.
List of Future Goals
- Our primary goal is to plan our Fall 2022 chapter meeting, which will take place at Cornell University on Friday, October 14, 2022. We plan on delivering a hybrid meeting, with the options of in-person or virtual attendance, so as to maximize accessibility. The annual meeting provides an opportunity to share and celebrate the many meaningful initiatives of our membership throughout the past year, and to cultivate opportunities for leadership, mentorship and networking.
