List of Previous Goals and Progress Made

• Hold annual chapter meeting in person in Norman Oklahoma
• • After our planned in-person annual meeting in Norman, OK was postponed for the third year running in 2022 we successfully held and in-person (and online) meeting in Norman at the University of Oklahoma May 19-20, 2023.

• MLA Chapter Grant: The MPMLA Membership Committee (Maria Souliotis, Chair) reached out to librarians supporting music programs throughout the Mountain-Plains region to generate interest and expand membership.
  • The planned use of grant funds was unsuccessful. No new members registered or attended the annual meeting although two members whose membership had lapsed re-joined MPMLA.

List of Future Goals

• We are planning to meet in 2024 at a soon to be determined location.
• The Chapter remains focused on growing our membership. The Membership Committee plans to use grant funds (received from MLA in 2022) towards recruiting new members and attendees again for 2024 annual chapter meeting. Goals remain to:

   • Increase visibility of MLA
   • Discover ways we may serve institutions in our region
