List of Previous Goals and Progress Made

  • 1. Update the Advertising Manager Handbook and mailing list of advertisers so that a smooth transition to the next Advertising Manager can occur upon completion of my fourth year in spring 2023.
    • Completed by outgoing advertising manager Steve Mantz. The transition was smooth.
  • 2. Work with the Annual Meeting Task Force to ensure that conference is supported by successful advertising via the conference website and program.
    • All advertising spaces on the conference website sold out quickly.
    • I am working with the CFO and convention managers on identifying and creating new advertising and sponsorship opportunities, especially with the discontinuation of the printed program as an advertising revenue source.

List of Future Goals

  • 1. Create and sell advertising and sponsorship opportunities via continued work with the Annual Meeting Task Force and our advertisers and exhibitors.
    • Objective 1.3: Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with other organizations that offer financial as well as professional opportunities and advantages.
  • 2. Conscientiously maintain good relationships with new and existing advertisers to encourage advertising revenue in Notes and at the annual meeting.
